International Inline Hockey Tournament!

For those who might be wondering what the heck Inline Hockey is,
Here’s a brief tutorial for you guys…

Inline hockey, like other hockey game, is like hockey game..But not like other hockey game..

Got it??
.
.
.
.
.
.

I guess NOT… -.-

*Sigh*

"In-line hockey is a high energy impact sport played with a puck and Hockey sticks, similar to Ice Hockey, played on a smooth, dry flat surface, with the main difference, being that the players are on Inline skates / Rollerblades instead of Ice-skates. Unlike Field Hockey, the hockey sticks are the same as used on Ice, and both sides of the blade may be used. Surfaces may vary from anything from concrete, cement, parquet, tarmac, or any rink surface. Full protective gear is utilized including helmets, knee and shin guards, and elbow pads and gloves." :D

Well, there’s an International Inline Hockey Tournament held in Malaysia! Hip-Hip-Horay!

The match is between 5 countries:

1.       Malaysia

2.       Singapore

3.       Indonesia

4.       Philippines

5.       Hong Kong, China.

So?  What’s the BiG Deal?

Well, you see,
Brigette, Zuan, Raffail &Me
Went to this tournament, to fill our “Free Friday”…

Objective: to watch something we’ve never witness before on Planet Earth

Since this game is NEW and ALIEN to us,
we were hoping to see something EXTRA-ORDINARY…

So we arrived at Sports Plaza. Lot 14. Jln Bersatu, Sec 13/4 PJ.
To be welcomed by Hard core fan cheering, sound of clashing hockey sticks,
and people shouting aloud.

Sounded like a fight was going to erupt!  YeeHaa!
That’s something we look forward to seeing!

So we rushed inside the hall and the match was on!
No signs of people killing each other..

Oddly, we felt kinda disappointed…. I mean, I was.. :b

Maybe I was hoping to see some Blood being shed! Just like in the Mafia movies...
Muahahahahaha..

Since this was my first time…
Honestly, I found it rather unique& exhilarating..

Super intensity, speed and power!
My heart is pumping like mad! Lucky didn’t catch a heart attack LOLOL! :D

Everyone seemed to enjoy the game and they looked like they were having Fun!

Then, Jitt introduced us to Steve!
He was great! A Talented Player! Super Humble & Sweet…!
Awwh.. *warm heart reaction!*  >.<

P/s: No photos were taken with any of the players during this whole event so as to keep the Players Focus!

So, I got no photo of Our Dear Steve to show off.. Hohohoho..

It has been so long since I watch Live matches…
I used to get addicted to watching those matches.
Objective was:
To observe their techniques... & to Envy those MVP’s (O.O)

P/s: MVP : (Most Valuable Players)

You see, I used to be active in Hockey sport...
That was…
Once upon a time…

Heck!  The last Hockey match I was involved was in 2009…
I feel so ANCIENT now..
*Sigh*

I miss those memories...

Somehow I feel, this tournament reminds me of my outing with my Bro.
We used to go watch live hockey match around KK.
The last match we saw was in UMS, Sabah.

Actually I dragged him along because I was so jealous of his free time. ^^

I wonder why Shah Alam is so quiet… Is it supposed to be like this?
You can hear crickets sing when you walk out the house…
Yaiks! Where did all the fun go??
Oh well... Nvm..

Actually,
I don’t know which part about hockey that makes me tick.

Maybe it’s the shoving and hitting hard thing… hahah!
Or maybe it’s the adrenalin rush and the satisfaction you get out of it. :)
Or maybe it’s the Super HOT Guys you just cant get enough of.. *Chuckle*
Or maybe because I’m into sport and I adore Healthy living.. (Rite…) Hahah!

Its like an anger management problem.. (not that I have any.. :b)
Hockey game releases stress and according to Steven..
"It burns your calories like Magic!" ^^

As usual, I eye out MVPs in matches...

Can’t help it! Bad Habit Die Hard! Hahah!

No.8, From Hong Kong really caught my attention!
He must’ve been practicing since a child!

LOLOL! So CUTE! >.<
I wish I could play as well as he did!
Now I am INSANELY Jealous!
Haihh…

The benefit of Inline hockey is that you can play it practically anywhere,
in parks, on basketball courts, and even on secluded roads,
but NOT CHOW KIT ROAD!

Well, for those who’s still looking for something challenging,
YOU might’ve just Find your SOUL MATE!!

Try it out.. Practice Hard! And maybe… you might be MY NEXT MVP! LOL!

Here's some pics of the tournament:

Its us! Jitt is taking the Photo! :)

Mines in Wonderland HOAX!

I wonder why this entry took me some time to publish.. Gee..
WARNING: This is going to be a Long Entry.. (-.-)

YOU see,
since its public holiday and everything, me and my friends decided to fill
this merry-little-holiday we have by ‘pretending to be tourist’.
Decided to take a dream-holiday in a fantasy land of mines in WONDERLAND! Yay! Clap2! Ngee~

Hurm, let see, the night before, excited, browsed through the net searching for Mines wonderland Malaysia. http://www.malaysiavacationguide.com/mineswonderland.html

Mines Wonderland Night Theme Park

Mines Wonderland Night Theme Park in Seri Kembangan, about 35 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur. A suggested time that you could spend here is 4 hours as there are many attractions to cover. There is something for everyone in the family. Your entire family will be able to enjoy

1.   the cruise on the 150 acres open cast mining lake,
2.   ride on the vintage car,
3.   hop on the road tram that will take you on a ride along the park,
4.   ride on a train that takes you on the part of the garden that will enable you to see the creatures that are being kept here,
5.   go to the ice factory that is freezing cold and see the scupture of ice on display here,
6.   see the endanger White Bengal Tiger that roams freely on the enclosed area as you walk on the bridge,
7.   see the cultural show from East Malaysia and the musical fountain which is the highlight of the day.

It looks kinda promising. I got all excited!

A WONDERFUL DAY, To go to a Wonderland.. It was Friday..                                                                         (19th Feb 2010)

1st, lets try the 1st thing in the list, the cruise on the 150 acres open cast mining lake.

The cruise was short and was a good opening after all.
(Because I was cruising with fun-loving people: such as., my Friends!!)

Imagine riding a boat with bunch of strangers, and you can hearcrickets sing…
That would be boring wouldn’t it??
 Well, 4 me, it is!

The house looked like a mini castle.. How much does it cost? ($.$)

WHAT TO DO NEXT???

Train Ride, Road Tram and Vintage Car

Your children will enjoy the rides that are available at regular interval in this park. Try the Unity Train ride that takes you around the park. You will be able to see the garden and the animals that are kept here. The Road Tram ride is a choo-choo train that moves on the road that will enable you to see the other side of the park. Go back to the automotive age by going on the Vintage Car that takes you around a lake and a beautifully landscaped garden.

Hop on the Unity Train ride near the entrance of the park.

Yeah rite.. IT DID NOT EXIST! Or I was Temporarily Blind! (O.O)

The Road Tram choo-choo train.

Nope.
Still no sign of its’ existence! (O.O)
Unfortunately, it’s under maintenance.
I guess Vintage-Cars need Rest too!

While we explore through the wonderland... We started to wander around.. And we wonder, and ponder… and mother f*****.. we got bored! How is that even possible???

WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO?

Ice Factory

Experience extreme cold temperature in tropical Malaysia. With a temperature of between -10 °C to -15 °C, this 10,000 square feet Ice Factory is the first winter wonderland in Malaysia. See the many ice sculptures of animals, fish, chairs and other interesting models here. Remember to wear your winter jacket that is available at the entrance to this place. You will probably spend about 15 minutes at most in this place due to the cold temperature here.

An ice sculpture on display at the Ice Factory

Guess what?? IT IS Under Maintenance.. !!
I guess, its really NOT meant for Malaysian climate after all.. *Sigh*

If everything is under maintenance why bother to “Open”??

My opinion as a concern citizen:
1.   CLOSE the damn mines because it is NOT-SO-freaking-WONDERLAND!!
2.   Fix everything up! Then make a Grand Opening!
3.   Advertise it via Radio or TV or News Papers.. etc…
4.   Invite clowns or something..
5.   Attract tourist to come. Give em’ holiday packages or something..
6.   Then, tell the whole world that it’s a freaking WONDERLAND!

Damn it! High Blood pressure…
I need a pause..

A pause…

inhale..

A pause…

exhale..

There was almost nothing available to see after that, the only thing worth watching next is the Musical Fountain and the Laser show. Well, we have something else to get excited about… and, There’s still the Bengal Tiger….. and the animals….. But that is NOT what we wanted to see…

Bengal Tiger

If I wanted to see animals, I’d go live with freakin’ Tarzan!

9pm – The most awaited event of all, The musical fountain & the laser show..
Was hoping for something spectacular since we paid Loads of money to watch it!

The show was around 15 minutes or so..
And I was excited for the 1st 2minutes.. Then.. it struck me!
It would NOT be a waste of money if I used up all the money to watch a MOVIE which last for more than an hour!

But, well, u know what they say… “Its not a total lost if u get a 1st hand experience in it”.. well, somehow, there’s got to be truth in that.. I am glad that I came with a group of friends who just love to have fun..

So, Yeah, this is my friggin’ experience, and it was friggin’ unbelievable…

Poems by heart - Part 2

Shhhh… Can u keep a secret?
Keep it close to thy heart..
Not giving away hints when thou are outsmart..
Because this is the matter of the heart..
Something long to be discard,
But kept, because it’s impossible to discharge..

My sudden Epiphany of what is dear to my soul.
Clenching its fists though my all..
Throbbing thy mind and start a brawl
Seducing curiosity to broil..
Still, the secret prowl..
Not shaken by mere scream nor scold..

I kept it concealed in a secret land.
I can't hope for thou to grasp nor understand..
Because I leave no room for a landing hand,
There's no space for thou in my secret land..

It is locked in a secret compartment;
Only approached through stealthy negotiation.
It is like a lifetime agreement..
Can only be reveal through covert action..

I flew up the dark skies, screaming in despise..
And sees beyond, getting no respond.
I could never tell... Even if I yell.
Then the secrets became fond,
Then it lingers on..

Now that I look at it..
Its the darkest side of human spirit..
Where no soul can take a visit..
Nobody shall credit nor give merits.

It takes skills of clandestine intelligence,
To steadily walk through darkness..
It scared me, those voices,
Of devils and the angels..

Just like beggars
in filthy clothes and covered in dust,
Filthy by money, by blood and by lust.
Hiding behind Something surreptitious
Is it I? Have I become someone mysterious..?

Sometimes it’s a curse to be an eve
Born with evasiveness of a thief:
Performing with swift slyness, shiftiness,
A menacing and furtive look in my eyes.

For too long I smiled in a frame,
But there's a monster inside I can never tame.
I kept it locked away in the deepest core of my heart,
But I know it will soon crack, soon fall apart.

For so long my weary soul wandered,
Seeking a place where my secret voices can be heard..
For so long I even wondered,
If maybe there's peace not seen, secluded..

Then I came towards realization,
That it will take more than just confession
For a mere revelation...

My Academic Journal Experience!

I’ve been reading an academic journal for the past few days.
(It’s NOT my 1st time) But I find it very hard EVERYTIME.

I just don’t understand why most of academic journal uses different terms which eventually mean the same thing.
And as a reader, I had to go through HELL to read and interpret what the Heck the writer is trying to convey…

I must admit that reading academic journals isn’t my strongest point!

I’d rather be locked inside a dungeon and read Thousand Novels and make Million Poems..
Urm, Honestly.. (I’d rather, NOT) -.-

Back to the journal, it’s an assignment we need to finish A.S.A.P!
I’ve been reading it weeks before the holiday.
BUT, like I said, Academic Journals is JUST NOT my strongest point! *sigh*

I need to come up with a summary of it all… *Faints*

So I started a vigorous regime to read and interpret the whole mess…

I read it once, I could only understand a little..

I read it twice, things become clearer..

I read it again, Things become more complex..

I read it again, I started seeing stars..

I read it more.. and more.. and more.. and….

I almost lose my sight… Seriously..

I had a headache. But it soon went away due to heavy banging while listening to hardcore rock music!

Thank GOD! Eventually I came up with a summary…

It was the hardest part of the whole assignment. *Pheww… eventually..

Our Perfect Escape!

Went out with my Girls yesterday²   (^^)

Destination: Sunway Pyramid (SunPy)
Objective: watch movies! Pestering around SunPy

The ticket counter hall was FILLED with people of different sizes, colors, height, weight… &; there seems to be lacking in moral/ self-control capacity among some people. Maybe it’s the valentine mood or it’s the “mating-season”. I don’t know. Couples were busy lining up, giggling, smiling, touching, and… touching... and touching... I don’t mind it. Really! Poor kid who witnesses such conduct... they should be ashamed of themselves... (I mean, the couples, not the children)

No wonder the social illness rate is getting higher every year. People can’t even control themselves in public. Don’t even bother to think about others BUT themselves! And poor citizen like me can’t do anything to make things better… *sigh* I wish I was an Eraser-woman… Erasing scum in split seconds...

HOWEVER, I don’t have anything against people showing their affection towards each other. ^^

Well, when we finally reached the counter, most of the movie we wanted to watch was already SOLD OUT! Luckily “Valentines Day’s” tickets were still available. ^^ At least we weren’t left with total despair… However, we had to wait hours b4 ‘the eye-feasting’ ceremony.

Decided to fill our rambling stomach. So we headed to “Manhattan Fish sthg…” The menu was quite mouth watering… But the drinks were damn expensive I think! RM2.50 for freakin’ water! Aigoo~
Needed some water to swallow down my medicine, I decided to buy some mineral water which cost me RM1.30. Thank God! Never been happier to find cheap water! Wakakaka!

1st pic on the left: waiting 4 the train to come fetch our weary souls
(while my bebeh Syam caresses my weary head)
2nd pic on the left: Calculating the receipt (because our mom said: "NEVER trust ur receipt especially if its expensive!" *kiddin* hehe.. X_X
Centre Pict: while waiting for the servings (Ash n Zati)
Last Pic on the Right: Mouth watering Food.. Served in a 'Snow-Shovel' like pan.. wee~

The servings arrived! And we dig in! Thank God for the seafood! Hip-Hip-Hooray! Eventually, we went out with a Happy Tummy! ^^

Then, the pestering around SunPy begins! We went in and out of shops. Tried on few items… Shoes, bags, clothes, accessories… Just the usual GurLy-GurL stuff… was feeling happy, and as usual, I lose control of myself and started to get a little crazy...
(I should be ashamed of myself) -.-

Pic on top: 4 Gorgeous Ladies! Me n my Cheap mineral water! ahaks!
Bottom pic: Checkin' Out the Usual GirLy GurL Stuff!

Pics: Really went mad over those Heels! Mwahh! Just Lovely!

Eat BURGER KING… owh-so-Sadap!! I Luv them fries! LoL!
Tasty as can be… ^^

Watched “Valentines Day” and liked the story line and the casts… ^^
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND… people (with fair judgement) to watch this heart-warming movie.
Teenagers (with Hormonal Imbalance) shouldn’t try watching.

May cause these symptoms:
1.       Sweaty palm
2.       Wild imagination
3.       Over excited feeling
4.       Growing toing-toing-toing… (This point is open for any interpretation) -.-“

Well, whatever you watch is NONE of my Business anyway, But… Don’t say I didn’t warn… Enjoy!
