Tears of an Angel

I flew up high..
I saw sadness & sufferings..
Children dying..
Mother’s crying
Cut & bruised..
Bodies are laying..

A sad soul left there to rot.
And the foul smell of blood..
Disgusting, revolting,
Sickening, overpowering.

A thousand bullets like raining..
Metal trucks bulldozing..
Brothers and sisters are fighting..
The nightmare is never ending..
Everyone loses everything..

How can a small body contain so much pain?
Since when death became a fun game?
In the end what is there to gain?

I flew up high and I cried..
I Prayed to God to take all the pain and Sorrow
And I prayed for a better tomorrow
To see a glowing lights in those faces..
For a smile to resurface..

When tears are no longer visible
When fears became unfeasible
For justice and peace to be possible.

Chick Memoirs on FiFA (Part 3)

THE CLOSING CEREMONY

During the closing ceremony of 2010 World Cup Football
Colombian star Shakira will perform the official tournament anthem "Waka Waka" (This Time for Africa).

Since the release of “Waka Waka” before the beginning of the games in South Africa, Shakira’s song has been a best seller and the closing ceremony of FIFA 2010 only helped to make it more so.

Apart from Shakira, other artists at the closing ceremony of the World Cup Football 2010 include multiple Grammy Award winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Jozi, Stoan Seate, Slikour, Zuluboy, Abigail Kubeka, Theo Kgosinkwe, Afrikaans artistsNianell and flutist Wouter, Nigeria’s 2Face, Ghana’s Samini and popular local traditional group Ihashi Elimhlophe.

SPAIN CELEBRATES!!
....

Spain erupted with its biggest fiesta when its football team returned to Madrid after winning the World Cup.

Hundreds of thousands of people—if not more—jammed Madrid’s historic avenues as an open air bus ferried the national team down stately avenues to cheers from Spaniards decked out in a sea of red and yellow, the colors of the Spanish flag.

The massive Madrid street party came after players visited Madrid’s Royal Palace, normally used only for dreary state affairs. Team chatted and drinks with King Juan Carlos.

Team members then traveled to government headquarters, where they were greeted by Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, ministers and hundreds of ecstatic children invited to the event.

.....

Next came an open-air bus ride through Madrid’s historic center, the epicenter of the celebration for the second day in a row.

Crowds overflowed into the street and surrounded the team bus, virtually all sporting the red and yellow national colors along the five-kilometer route as the bus crawled through the crowd with the players waving and raising the gold World Cup trophy into the air.

On the bus, the players waved flags and saluted the screaming fans below. Casillas raised a red and yellow carton cutout of Octopus Paul, the mollusk from the German zoo that predicted Spain’s victory. -Source

AN INTERVIEW GONE WRONG
....

In Carbonero's post-match interview with her emotional boyfriend, she tried to keep things professional, but Iker just couldn't resist diving in for a big kiss after thanking his parents, his brother, his friends and finally, Sara.

ANDRES INIESTA PAYS TRIBUTE
.....

As Andres Iniesta scored the 116th-minute goal that helped Spain to its first World Cup victory, he took the opportunity to pay tribute to a colleague who passed away before the start of last season. In front of a TV audience of more than 750 million, the Barca star removed his shirt to reveal the message "Dani Jarque siempre con nosotros," which translates to:

Dani Jarque always with us

Espanyol defender Jarque suffered a heart attack before a pre-season game in Italy in 2009. He never played club football with Iniesta, but they were the same age as they rose through the Spanish national team ranks. After the match, Iniesta explained his gesture:

“I wanted to keep Dani with me and with the other teammates. We wanted to pay tribute to him and we thought this was the best opportunity to do so.”

The diminutive midfielder may have earned a yellow card for the gesture, but what better way to pay tribute to a lost friend.

OTHER TROPHIES
....

With the Cup handed over to the Spanish team, it was time to distribute the other trophies to the players who belonged to other teams as well. Among the rest, Thomas Mueller is the winner of the FIFA World Cup 2010 Golden Boot.

Giving him tough competition in the Golden Boot category were David Villa, Diego Forlan and Wesley Sneijder. With each of the players having scored a total of five goals each.

Apart from the Golden Boot, Thomas Mueller also has to his name the ‘Best Young Player award’ of the FIFAWorld Cup 2010

While David Villa took home the Silver Boot of the tournament, Wesley Sneijder of the Netherlands, otherwise considered as one of the best contenders won the Bronze Boot. - Source

By the way, Arjen Robben didn't even close to winning anything.. :P

Diego Forlan from Uruguay won the Golden Ball & Named as

FiFA's BEST PLAYER.

While the Golden Glove belongs to Iker Casillas.

IN THE END,

SPAIN WON THE WORLD CUP 2010

LOL!! ^^ CONGRATS!
